Early access

EatWell is in early access with a small group of people in the UK. It works, and it is also unfinished in places — that is the deal, and it is worth being upfront about.

There are no streaks to keep, no daily target to hit and nothing that scores you. EatWell is for noticing how you eat, and a day you do not log is not a failure.

What you get today

  • Logging meals by describing them in your own words
  • Reflect: what EatWell noticed across your recent days, in words rather than scores
  • Approximate numbers if you want them, tucked away rather than put in front of you
  • Estimates you can adjust, edit, or delete whenever they look wrong
  • A day view and a history of what you have logged
  • Trying it as a guest, without creating an account
  • What you logged as a guest moves with you when you create an account

What is still being improved

  • Estimate quality, especially for mixed and homemade meals
  • Making the wording calmer and more consistent across the app
  • Speed and reliability on mobile

Things will change while you are using it, and some of those changes will be visible.

How feedback is used

Early access exists to find out where EatWell is confusing, wrong, or more effort than it is worth. What early users report decides what gets fixed first and what gets built next.

Every page has a Send feedback link in the footer. It opens your own email app with nothing filled in but the subject — it sends no information about you, your device or what you have logged, and it makes no request of any kind when you use it. If you would rather write the email yourself, the address is support@simplyeatwell.co.uk.

There is nothing you have to answer, but these three questions are the most useful:

  • What were you trying to do?
  • What felt helpful, confusing or uncomfortable?
  • What is the smallest change that would improve it?

Please do not send medical details, or meal information you would rather was not in email. Email is not a private channel and we do not need it to understand a problem.

For anything about your data — a copy of it, a correction, deletion, or withdrawing consent — email privacy@simplyeatwell.co.uk, and see the privacy notice.

What it costs

Nothing, and there is nothing to buy. No payment details are asked for, no payment is taken, and charging is not switched on.

A single subscription plan is intended in future. What it will cost has not been decided or published, and we are not announcing a date.

Before you start

EatWell gives estimates and general information, not medical advice, and it is not built for clinical use. Read EatWell's safety and limits.

The beta terms set out the arrangement, and Cookies and device storage explains what EatWell keeps on your device.
